Diabetes Self Management Education Class
Diabetes education classes help patients learn critical skills for diabetes self management.
Peoples Diabetic Clinic’s Diabetes Self Management Education Classes are available for the group or individual and are created especially for those living with diabetes and cover all areas of diabetes self management education, including:
- Diabetes education
- Diabetes
- Healthy eating
- Stress reduction and coping
- Fitness being physically active
- Controlling Blood Sugar and A1C Levels
- Managing Medication
Diabetes Self Management Education Classes, which require a doctor’s referral, include one-on-one sessions with a pharmacist followed by eight hours of group or individual diabetes education classes.
The diabetes management training program accepts Medicare and most insurance plans. Day, evening and weekend classes are now forming.
Stay in control of your diabetes. Join our Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) Program. The DSME Program is open to any patient (age 18+) who have type 2 diabetes.
